Nigerian Legions trainees beat man trying to stop them from assaulting a lady

A man identified as Felix was last week brutalized by some newly recruited officers of the Nigerian Legion Corps, for trying to protect a lady being assaulted by one of them.

The incident happened at Atekong drive in Calabar, Cross River State. The said officer had gone to buy a drink and paid with a torn N100 which the girl rejected.

Instead of changing the money, he threw N50 on the ground for the girl, who then said “my sweat will judge you.” The statement infuriated the officer and he started assaulting her.

On seeing what was happening, Felix intervened, only for the NL boss to order the remaining trainees on parade to descend on him.
